Diana Alexe is a distinguished lyric coloratura soprano from Adjud, Romania, renowned for her crystalline timbre and exceptional vocal agility. With a career marked by dynamic portrayals of opera's most iconic roles, including acclaimed performances as Juliette in Romeo et Juliette, Gilda in Rigoletto, Violetta in La Traviata and Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor. Her formal training began at the National Music University of Bucharest and MUK Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität in Vienna. Afterwards, she refined her craft at the Wiener Staatsoper Chor Akademie, receiving instruction from leading figures in the opera world. Beyond her operatic achievements, Diana has graced the stage as a featured soloist with prestigious orchestras such as the Vogtland Philharmonie, the Vienna Mozart Orchestra, J. Haydn Symphonieorchester Wien, Wiener Philharmoniker and Orchestra Musicae Antiquae Warsaw, her concert repertoire including notable works like Mozart’s Requiem, Brahms’s Ein Deutsches Requiem or Saint-Saëns’s Oratorio de Noël. Diana's artistry has earned her numerous accolades, including the Special Prize at Opera Pannonica, Hungary (2021), the Grand Prix at the International Emil Rotundu Competition, Romania (2021), 1st Prize of Dvorak International Competition and multiple top prizes at international competitions.
